More than Just Hairspray!

Hello my lovely readers! I hope you guys are enjoying yourselves. So, how many of you readers own hairspray? There’s a very good chance that the majority of you people own at least a can or two of this hair tamer. I own a few bottles, but they often become neglected and end up in my towel closet with every other ignored product in there. I still try to use them though. An ordinary can of hairspray can do more than just keep your hair in place. I put together three things that hair spray can do:

Gives shoes better grip- The grip on the bottom of new shoes and heels  have to be worn in for a long time before they become sturdy. You can get nice grippy footwear right away, by just spraying two coats of hairspray on the bottom of each shoe.

Gets rid of static on the inside of clothing- Everyone has that shirt that just clings, no matter what. Quickly spritz the inside of a top with hairspray, to get rid of the static cling.

Set your nails quickly- If you just painted your nails with nail varnish, and want them to dry quickly, hold the can of hairspray about a 15-30 cm away from your nails and lightly mist them two to three times. Your nails should instantly dry. DO not put the can too close to your nails, as it causes bubble to form in the varnish, causing peeling and chipping.

There you go, I hope that short article helped. I’m hoping that I will get a summer smoky eye look and an anime eyes look done soon, so stay posted. Have a great day everybody.

Happy Hairspray-ing

Its NARS Time !?!?!?!

Hello all you people! I’m going to get back on blogging more frequently, because that’s how I think it should be. So how have you guys been? I hope you’re ready for another review. It’s go time!

I am really excited to share this with all of you, as it is truly a worthwhile product, and is sure to please any of you. The product I am going to show you all is a NARS concealer. This is my first NARS product, and I was lucky to find it while I was at an out of town Sephora store. A woman who worked at the store helped me choose the right colour, after my difficulty to find the right shade for my skin tone. I could have gone lighter, but I chose the shade “Ginger” instead, after many trials of convincing. I was looking around the store for the exact product that I wanted, a concealer that covered up dark circles and did not have salmon undertones. I did not want to look for a brightening concealer, just a product that applied flawlessly and did the job with little effort. Since that was the case, I came across, in my opinion, one of the best concealers out there.

So what makes this concealer so special?

It’s opaque colour goes on smoothly, without having to spend a significant amount of time to blend it in. The wonderfully creamy formula does not get cakey or crackly on the surface of your skin.It stays on the whole day, without dehydrating the skin.

here's my eye before the concealer :)

blend away!

After the concealer is applied :D

I actually went biking for an hour while wearing just the concealer on my face, and it stayed on without sliding off or melting. The design of the product is pretty genius, as well. The convenient twist up tube, reminiscent of a lipstick, gives the user full control of the product. The streamline and tapered end allows for the concealer to be applied in narrow areas, like around  the nose.In my opinion, it is ideal for beginners to use as it is not messy like a liquid concealer. Another great feature of this product is that it is pretty compact, so it can be carried around in your pocket, purse, or even your gymbag. I hope you take this review into consideration, as this concealer provides natural coverage without having to slather on a lot of product. Take care, everyone! Oh,before I forget, if any of you are interested in this talented product, here are two links where you will definitely find it. Thanks for reading.
