New Year's Eve :)

Hello blogders! New Year's Eve is finally here, and what better way to celebrate than with family and friends? I remember when I was younger, the year 2012 seemed to be too far and I would be too old by then. Now it feels as if the year passed by too quickly! Nonetheless, it was a good year, filled with many surprises and wonderful things, for example, Electric Blush turned one ;)

Well, I'm still waiting on the countdown, its not New Year's in my part of Canada yet.

Happy New Year's Eve!!!

Knit Crazy!

Hello out there! Now that Christmas is done, I decided to challenge myself and knit a scarf. Yep, a little ol' scarf. Though its one of the easiest things to do with knitting needles (other than accidentally dropping stitches), I'm actually gonna make one I am going to wear. The last scarf I knit was for a project, and it is not very , er, wearable. I'm not one to do knitting or any techniques of the similar craft, but I do other types of art. Right now I am knitting a scarf for my brother while he is visiting, hopefully it turns out to be wearable out in public.

believe it or not, this little ol' scarf costs close to $50. ouch.

Top 5 Beauty Must-Haves for the Holidays

Hey there! Long time no see! As some of may know, I've been incognito for the last little while, due t my arm injury, but I am finally back on track. I didn't realize that its already the last few days before Christmas until a few days ago, its like I've been in zombie mode from school that I hardly noticed. Bet there are a bunch of you who feel the same! This is also the time of the year when Christmas parties start to get even more bunched together, and you have to find time to plan your week around whether you are actually going or to lay low for the 4th party that week. For all of you busy bees out there this holiday season, here are my top 5 beauty must-haves that are sure to save time and possible your sanity.

#1: No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream

Get dewy, natural-looking coverage this season with this wonderful product. Its sheer colour doesn't take anything away from your natural skintone, so you get the natural coverage that you might have been searching for. There are three different formulas to suit your needs, which makes getting ready for the party less stressful. Just apply with clean fingers and go!

#2: Nyx Glitterati Glitter Cream Palette

I just have to say this this palette looks pretty darn amazing. It comes with 20 cream/gel glitter cream shades that can be used to add glitz and glamour to your face, body, and hair. It can add a punchy ppop of colour that many of us look for in holiday makeup looks, especially for eye shadow and liner looks. The combinations are endless, and its reasonably priced ( $19.00 CAD). You won't have to break the bank in search of high-octane holiday glitter!

#3: Hard candy Nobody's Perfect - Concealer Palette

I am a fan of any good quality makeup that comes in a palette. Concealer is no exception. The winter season can make your dry, sensitive, or even prone to constant redness. Luckily, this is a palette with many shades of concealer to meet your needs this season, and help you get ready faster and out the door.

#4:Bite Beauty Luminous Créme Lipstick Trio

This is a limited edition set by the brand Bite Beauty which is sure not to disappoint. These three wonderful shades are the perfect match for an intense smokey eye for the holidays. Just swipe and go. the best part about these lipsticks is that you can probably skip the lipliner, whereas a bold red may require careful planning.

#5:Nyx The Curve Liquid Eyeliner

I can say for certain that I am on the hunt for this product in Canada. So far, no luck. All of you that are able to find it should find this to be a wonderful product, especially for those who have trouble with liquid liner. I do not have trouble with applying liquid liner, but the design of this product appears as if it makes applying liquid liner nearly fool-proof. The formula is just as amazing as the design, so why not give it a try?

Well, that's my list, what would be on yours? Thanks for reading.

Happy Holidays
