#5:Nyx The Curve Liquid Eyeliner

I can say for certain that I am on the hunt for this product in Canada. So far, no luck. All of you that are able to find it should find this to be a wonderful product, especially for those who have trouble with liquid liner. I do not have trouble with applying liquid liner, but the design of this product appears as if it makes applying liquid liner nearly fool-proof. The formula is just as amazing as the design, so why not give it a try?

Well, that's my list, what would be on yours? Thanks for reading.

Dove Invigorating Dry Shampoo Review

Hello lovely readers! Long time no see! I went to the doctors a couple of weeks ago, and I found out after some bloodwork and a quick x-ray, that I do not have any tiny fractures in my arm, but I do have some sort of muscle or ligament tear in my left arm. I have been wearing a sling ever since, and it's on my writing arm as well! I'll post a picture of it later, but for now, here's my review!

This product has been gaining a lot of positive attention lately, and with good reason. Since it is made by Dove, you know that the product will work amazing, no joke. I've been on the hunt for a good dry shampoo that is both inexpensive and  and effective. I have tried a few before, but it felt like I used chalk dust o  my scalp. This one fit my über simple criteria for sure.

Let's take a look at the packaging. Its so clean and simple looking. It just makes you think of that fresh Dove scent that you get from their beauty bars. I also liked how it had an aerosol nozzle that actually worked. Finally, somebody got it right! Other brands seem to clog up, and then you have to rinse it every time, which is a bit time consuming. So far, I have had no problem at all with getting the nozzle to work. Kudos, Dove. One thing that I noticed was that two of the three cans I purchased had leaked through the nozzle, after a couple uses. I was a little confused to why the defect would occur with such frequency, but who knows, maybe it leaks if the nozzle is pushed from an odd angle or twisted funny. Nonetheless, the third can worked fine, and it is still pretty full, even after several usages.

The product itself is pretty rad. When it is spray it too many times in one area, it leaves a white cast on your hair. I have dark brown hair, and I found that it disappears without a trace after working
in the product after a couple seconds. Here's where the magic happens. After a quick brush, mu bair is shiny, clean and soft. Wow. Did I mention it only costs around $3.75 (CAD) for 5 ounces?

I would say it did a pretty good job of absorbing all the oil, without any heavy buildup. I have oily hair, and it did darn well even on the second and third day of skipping shampoo. I can now skip using shampoo and use water for 3 days at the most, rather than everyday.

As mentioned before, the packaging makes me think of that fresh Dove scent. I smells nice and clean, like a purifying kind of scent. It reminds me of their original shampoo.

Overall, I loved this product. Its cheap, easy to find, and does the job. I would buy this again, for sure. I'm not concerned about the nozzle, as leakage can be prevented. Well, thanks for reading!

Happy Thursday

Music for Monday

Hello you bubbly readers! Long time no talk! I was planning on doing a bunch of awesome tutorials for you guys, but I injured one of my arms, so taking pictures for the tutorials and demonstrating the tutorials is a no-go. Initially, I thought it would be better today, but so far no luck. The pain started around last Sunday. I woke up with a deep, radiating pain in my left bicep all the way to my inner elbow, and it has been hurting every since. It was a more intense, yet similar pain to the tetanus or whooping cough booster shot, for those lucky few that remember. Hopefully, I'll be finally able to get a doctor's appointment soon, and put out a tutorial for you all. Here's a tune I've been humming for the past week, that I bet you will be humming along too.

Look of the Day (LOTD): Two-Toned Liner!

Hello everyone! What a wonderful Saturday! I know most Canadians have a long weekend this month, but its for Remembrance Day. I hope everyone is safe this long weekend! I realized that I have not been wearing makeup as much lately, so I decided just to layer two eyeliners together, which seems perfect for such a great day. I remember when this used to be in fashion back in middle school, mostly because the double-sided Rimmel liners were the most handy, but turns out, it became a major hit among makeup lovers as well!Who knew such an innocent fashion attempt was actually a global trend. I also highlighted the inner corners of my eyes, to soften the look. What are your favourite ways to wear two-toned liner?Well, I'm off to go see a movie! Hope you all have a great day!

Take care,

How to Achieve Sculpted Blush in 30 Seconds or Less!

Hello everyone! Humans have been applying various types of pigments to enhance their cheekbones for centuries.Though its fun to try all if the different types, it can take quite a bit of time, just to achieve that perfectly sculpted loom most of us want to attain when applying blush. I was experimenting with many different tricks, and I found this one by accident.

Make a "peace-sign" with  one hand, and place it palm side up, and resting against your cheek . Change the angle of your hand, so it follows the lines of your cheekbone. Line up the point of the peace-sign where your mandible joint would be. Apply your favourite blush to the skin inside the peace sign, remove your hand, and then blend it out any harsh lines. You can now enjoy your perfectly sculpted blush!

Tip:Add a Splash of Colour!

Hello everyone! I know there are many of you out there that just love the classic cat-eye look, especially if it is done with inky, black eyeliner. It's perfect for literally ever occasion, and can be transformed to suit your mood at a moment's notice. To expand your repertoire of handy cat eye looks, why not add a splash of colour into the mix? There are literally endless possibilities, but one of my favourite combos is a happy blue liner on the lower lash line and smudged a bit with a Q-tip, which gives your eyes that ethereal effect. What are your favourite ways to dress up black liner?

Happy Saturday
