Confession: Singin' the Blogger Blues

Writing was always something that I enjoyed doing. The only exception that I can make is of literary essays; I think we can all agree on how much fun they suck out of creative writing. 

To be honest, I made a promise this year to keep up with my blog writing. I kept setting goals for myself, and taking pride in following a more regular schedule, but it appears that I have ,er, fallen off the blogging bandwagon. Why? There's not a single reason that I can give, other than for the fact that I didn't want to keep second-guessing my writing. 

I always have so many ideas for article to write on this blog, to share my musing with you guys. As soon as I get home, I write down all of my ideas onto sticky notes, and post them on my mirror, as a way to visualize the concepts for the articles. However, I felt as of my ideas were coinciding with those of other beauty bloggers, and a lot of my material would resemble work that other bloggers had put out a few moments before I hit the publish button. I've decided to abandon the notion of backtracking with my own ideas, because it's not worth losing one of my favourite things, to something as small as writer's anxiety. 

I also took a break because I wanted to focus on making my content worth reading, and develop more of a "voice" for my posts. Like you guys, I get bored to death by bloggers who say the same thing in every post; it wouldn't be fair for you to go through such a tortuous ritual anyways.

Out with the old, and in with the new.

Back into the Swing of Things

Hello there!
As a bunch of you readers have noticed, I haven't been posting for about several weeks, and boy, I wanted to blog so badly! I am currently enrolled in university and am loving every bit of my experience, as I am finally settled in and used to how things work. My lack of posts was due to me feeling as if I would only have time to do reviews, and not everything else that I had planned, so I decided to just take a break, and focus on getting used to a new experience and forming a new routine to incorporate everything.I shall try to use my Instagram account more often, seeing as I created an account without using it (who knows, may end up as one of those people who obsessively post stuff, but let's hope not). Well, since I've been gone for a while, what have you guys been up to lately?

June Update!

Hello all you dazzling readers! Summer is finally upon us, and it feels great. I wish I could sleep in everyday and enjoy the summer,  but I still have one last exam to write before I am finished. I should have another post up after my exam, as I do not want any distractions from studying. Well, enjoy the beginning of summer you lucky ducks. See you in a few days!

Fresh New Look!

Hello you dazzling readers! After almost a year of blogging, I decided to change the look of my blog. This will be the third makeover for this blog. If you notice anything out of place or missing, it is because of the new layouts I am trying out for the blog, so sit tight! I will be changing up the look of Electric Blush over the course of this week, so the changes will be gradual.Well, I am off to go write another post. Feelin' Under the Weather :/

Hello all of you readers! How are you today? Today was supposed to be a tutorial day, but I am feeling a bit sick today. The cause of this minor cold, remains unknown, but I do "adore" how I have been sneezing "very quietly" and my eyes were a bit puffy. Instead, I am going to post something else. I will, however, post the tutorial without the pictures for now, and add them in tomorrow. This just gave me some inspiration for how to wear your makeup for sick or just-pulled-an-all-nighter days. Long Time No See!

EXAM TIME!!!

Hello my wonderful readers! How are you doing? I know, it's been a long time since I've blogged, but its exam time in Canada. This means I just stay home ad study, and I have basically so life for the next couple of weeks. at won't stop me from blogging, though. I shall put another post up later today ( it is currently 1:09 am), and keep posting as the next couple of weeks or so progress. How is exam going for all you Canadian ( and maybe even American) readers? You're probably enjoying reading mass amounts of literature, and doing equations. Maybe even a few of you are ready to chuck your calculators into the Pacific Ocean. Even if you do, I can understand why. Okay, it's bedtime now, I have to get up early in the morning for a studying session at school. Study hard, and enjoy the rest of your days.

Quick Update :)

Hello my wonderful readers! How are you? Today is Thanksgiving in the US, and I hope my American readers are enjoying their holiday as much as possible. I just wanted to make a quick post saying that I will be posting something really soon, and I have a few tutorials  planned out. It has a been an exciting month as I  finally got a new phone. My old one was a white LG Rumour. It was a pretty good phone, but sadly, the screen stopped functioning properly, so you would have to press the back of the slider to make it work. Black Friday is also around the corner, so enjoy Black Friday too. anyways, enjoy your holidays, and stay updated. Thank you for reading!

Quick November Update :)

Hello my wonderful readers! How are you doing? I have not been here for a while, but don't worry, I'm still here. So how has November been treating you all? This has been a very busy month for me (nothing new with that). I have to do so much homework, but I decided to take a break to give a quick update. I will be getting a new phone soon, as my other one is broken, and the contract is going soon anyways. That's a bit exciting, because i can upgrade to any phone. I would love to post a few more tutorials as soon as the camera situation gets resolved, but until then, you can read any of the posts I shall be putting up soon, and will try to use the lower quality camera if it still works.Well, take care everyone and remember to do your homework (cough).

Hello my amazing readers. how are you doing? Well, Diwali just ended about 20 minutes ago ( as I am typing this it is 12:20 am), and I decided not to post yesterday. Today will be a double post, however. I could hear fireworks going off my my house, but that's normal. How many of you celebrate Diwali? Even if you don't nothing to worry about. The Seven Posts of Halloween :)

Hello my wonderful  readers! How are you? I am finally back on track with blogging, and I have a few exciting looks that I would like to share with you soon. As the title says, I am going to do a whole week of Halloween posts, which will not be in any planned arrangement, just which ever post I feel is the one I want to show you all. Tutorial Later Today :)

Hello my wonderful readers! I have not blogged for a while. How have you all been doing? I've been in school for almost two months now, and its really cutting into my writing time. I might even have to work up my own schedule now. How does at least three times a week sound? That will be my goal for now until I can obtain more free time. I am currently enjoying the four day weekend for Thanksgiving, and will be blogging throughout. Are any of you on your break right now?

I am currently planning out a Halloween tutorial for next week, so I would love for you to give me any ideas that you would like me to to a tutorial on. Hmm. Maybe I should do a week of Halloween themed posts? Look out for my tutorial today, it may not be Halloween themed, but you could use it for a costume. Update :)

Hello all you wonderful readers! How are all of you today? It has been a busy week for me, there were people coming and going all week in my house, but it is finally over. I had also been busy writing for a project, which I will be finishing today. Lastly, I will be getting my braces off this afternoon, at 3 pm. That means it will be a three hour appointment. Oh well, I`m glad that they are going to be off right before pictures and school, so its pretty fortunate. I feel frustrated that I did not have the proper time to do any tutorials this week, but fear not, they should be back within a few days time, as I am going out of town again. I will try my best to do tutorials of all sorts while on the run,and if it comes down to it, I will just do informative posts and reviews. Well, enjoy the rest of your week, and I should get back to you later on today.

A Much Needed Update

Hello my patient readers! How are you doing? I was hoping to post the tutorial a couple of days ago, but I was unable to because of the thunderstorms we have been getting in town. The internet connection has not been that reliable, but it is pretty strong now. The post should be put up today, but it shall be done later at night, as I have somewhere to go right now. I found out today that I will be getting my braces off on the 19th of August, and I am pretty excited. I shall post a picture when I get back. Worry not, your tutorial will arrive!

Anothe Update !

Hello my patient readers! How are you guys? I hope your enjoying your summer. I drove for the first time today, and it was a tad nerve racking, but I think I'll be fine. You probably thought that I forgot about the smoky eyes tutorial, but I have not. I have been busy these past few days, and it has bee raining outside, and I prefer to use natural lighting for my photos as they come out better. The tutorial should be up tomorrow, and it will not disappoint.Since you took the time to read this, watch this video after you are done, just a little something to brighten up your day. Hello everyone. I've been neglecting this blog for about a week, due to the large amount of attention that goes towards exams. My last exam is tomorrow, so please be patient.
