Farewell to First Year :)

If you listen closely, you can hear millions of students rejoicing at the conclusion of their first year of university. I am happy to say that I am a part of this joyful group! This has been such an awesome year, as I can't imagine my life without experiencing university. I am so happy to have met so mamy people andd experience so many different situations. Though it wasn't always happy-go-lucky, I am just so glad to have has this experience.

Well, happy end of first year to all of my fellow undergraduates, and here's to an even better first year!

I Finally Graduated :)

Hey guys! How is everyone? I have been very busy these past few weeks preparing for something awesome. YUP, I JUST GRADUATED on Thursday, June 26,2013. All of my hard work paid off, and it was one of  my best experiences yet. The prom portion was just as amazing, as I spent the night dancing and laughing with friends.To all of the graduates of 2013,I wish you the best  on this new journey.

Electric Blush Turns Two!!

Hello everyone! I am happy to announce the second birthday of the Electric Blush blog! The official "birthday" of my blog actually occurred a couple of days ago, but regardless, it is an exciting milestone for me! I would like to thank each and every reader that has ever visited my blog, as it means  a lot to me that somebody could stop by and read my musings. I am still surprised that I have readers from all over the world, when there are so many other beauty blogs to choose from!

Though there have been less blog posts this year, it was due to my decision to be more dedicated to my studies, as it was my last round of exams for the year. Thank you for being so understanding and sticking around, as it may have been frustrating to see minimal updates. Maybelline Color Whisper Lip Color Review

Hey guys! Its almost summertime in my part of the world, and boy am I loving it! I usually wear dresses or skirts a few times a week, but got lazy during the winter, so now is my time to make up for it. The perfect accessory to compliment my floaty summer dresses is the perfect lip colour. I was pretty excited to buy the Maybelline Color Whisper Lip Colors as they are just perfect for all of my summer outfits!

Latest Music Obsessions

Hey everyone! My, oh my! Its already the last few day of May. I don't know about you, but I have been listening to several songs nonstop, and I am loving the transition of pop and soul music back into the type of music I was feeling nostalgia for. Here are some of my fav songs of the month.

                                                            Fine China- Chris Brown

Though this is not the official music video, I still find that Chris Brown's dancing is pure talent that is just awesome to watch.

                                                The Way- Ariana Grande ft. Mac Miller

So the first thing that came to mind when I first heard this song was that Mariah Carey came out with a new song. Boy, was I wrong. Ariana Grande can really sing, and I hope she gets more exposure in the music world.



                                                         Tunnel Vision- Justin Timberlake

If you're one of the people that is fangirling over the 20/20 Experience, then this song will take all of that enthusiasm to a whole new level.






                                                              Deepest Shame- Plan B

One of my favourite artists that raps and sings. This song is sure to get stuck in your head eventually. Don't fight it :P

Well, hello there free time, we meet again...

 

Hello my wondercats! How are you doing today? I am finally back, after a month of studying for diploma exams, and boy, that was a a life-sucker. It was hard for me to not blog all month, as I had so my reviews and tutorials to share with you!I thought that this slightly cheesy tumblr photo fit the bill just right. On a positive note, winter in Canada is almost over! The weather has been crazy in my town, we had over 5 feet of snow in some areas! However, this used to be the norm way back in the day, during a few winter seasons. For those of you that also finished your diplomas, I congratulate you for enduring the mind-numbing torture of doing all of those numerical response questions and picking the right answer from a question with 3 of the exact same options. I only have two this coming semester, so not a lot of cutbacks in free time.

Now that I have a ton of free time, this is the perfect way to introduce new ideas for the blog , which I am excited for. Before I sign off, I wanted to thank you for sticking around, though there have been no posts for a looong time!

Open Message to the Graduates of 2012

Whoo hoo! Grad 2012 :)

Hello all of you wonderful graduates! You are now part of the real world, according to modern social conventions. The moment you placed a firm grasp on your diplomas and tossed your graduation caps in the air, you just started a new chapter of you lives. For some of you, this may be the end of your formal education, but for many this  is still just the beginning. I would like to congratulate every single graduate, as you deserve a ton of praise for your dedication and hard work. You should all be proud of yourselves, as your diploma will open so many doors both in the real world, and in the way you will view society. Though you are all now out of school, and ready to take on anything, it does not mean you should give up the remainder of your childhood and take on an office job. Live your life. These cliche words may just be the best for describing the best course of action. Life is meant to be explored, leaving no crevice or underbelly of a rock undiscovered. Enjoy the moments and snippets of time you may have, and take every opportunity given to you. I would just like to to congratulate my brother, who graduated this year. I am so proud of him, and I will miss him when he is studying away at university. I came back from the day-long celebration a little while ago. Once again, good luck to all you graduates out there, and go and enjoy your life. I will now sign off for the night with a quote from one of my favourite books.
