Tip:Add a Splash of Colour!

Hello everyone! I know there are many of you out there that just love the classic cat-eye look, especially if it is done with inky, black eyeliner. It's perfect for literally ever occasion, and can be transformed to suit your mood at a moment's notice. To expand your repertoire of handy cat eye looks, why not add a splash of colour into the mix? There are literally endless possibilities, but one of my favourite combos is a happy blue liner on the lower lash line and smudged a bit with a Q-tip, which gives your eyes that ethereal effect. What are your favourite ways to dress up black liner?

Happy Saturday

Is Oil-Free Worth Buying?

Hello readers! I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful day! We all know of the various gimmicks that run a muck in the beauty world. This multi-billion dollar industry just keeps the trends coming, and its loyal followers occupied with the task of attempting to buy every "new" product out there. Now I'm not trying to dissuade you from buying Oil-free products, no, no!I'm just trying to say to be wary of this marketing gimmick.

Yes, there are oil-free creams and cosmetics that work wonders for your skin, but is it really necessary to buy it? Most of the time, the oil-free and regular version of a product work just as well as the regular one! a lot of times, skin care companies will charge consumers more money for offering such a "special" version of their products. I have still broken out from using oil-free moisturizer, because thought you don't want to believe it it, they still contain oil.

DIY: Sweet & Salty Body Scrub

Hello lovely readers! The warm weather outside has put me in a very good mood, and I decided to do a DIY post today. I have been so swamped with school the past couple of weeks, but I finally have a chance to blog without worry.

I recently bought this awesome scrub a couple weeks ago, and it made my skin so soft and feeling hydrated. It came in a small package, only contained about 50 mL of product, as I bought it in a set. The regular-sized one was the 200 mL version, but I still feel as if I can make this myself at home, and still be just as effective ( the product cost $20 CAD). So, here is my version, of an easy and effective body scrub.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

Hello readers! I have been searching for a sheer lip colour for a while, but did not want to commit to lipstick, as I did not want to reapply it a million times throughout the day, and glosses always end up getting lost or half used. It was meant to be the perfect lip product for school, as between classes and a crazy lunch time is not the best time to be reapplying anything. I think I encountered just the thing. The new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stan seemed to be the answer for most of  those little problems.I was not sure how sheer the colour was going to be when I saw the product, so I just grabbed the last balm stain the store had for that shade. I chose the colour "Charm". The packaging looked very cute and the light orange colour caught my eye, so I bought that shade.

Fall Makeup Trend: Neogrunge Makeup

Hello my feisty readers! Fall makeup is looking very reminiscent of past trends, and one that particularly stood out to me was the comeback of grunge elements in this year's looks. I was flipping through a few magazines, and even noticed a few people on the streets wearing daring shades of lipstick that was more commonly found in the 90's.Rich chocolate browns and brownish plum lipsticks of yesteryear. How about you readers? Would you ever rock this past trend? Who knows, it may last for the rest of the winter.

Swimmer Haircare Guide!

Howdy readers! How are you on this glorious day? Swimming is one of my favourite sports. I have been swimming since I was about 2 or 3 years old, and have loved it ever since. That wonderful feeling of swimming in the water and pushing myself to complete as many laps in the pool as I can manage, and training to complete new dives, still gives me an adrenaline rush. As a matter of fact, I feel like taking a little swim! Spending many hours in the pool can make your hair and skin feel a little dry and dull. As a life-long swimming enthusiast, I can let you in on a few things I have learned in order to keep my skin and hair, healthy and happy.
